There is so much job satisfaction and enjoyment in giving people confidence to be able to deal with emergency situations and potentially to save a life.
Many people who have been trained by PACO have contacted me to tell me they have used their training and had the confidence to deal with a real emergency situation. A little knowledge CAN actually save a life!

- Specialised in first aid training 2008
I decided to specialise in First Aid as it was an area that I found interesting and teaching it was extremely rewarding knowing that I really could make a difference. I also volunteer as a Community First Responder in my area, for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
About PACO First Aid
PACO was established in November 2008 and has since been delivering accredited First Aid Training to local companies, schools, nurseries, hotel chains, healthcare professionals and sports clubs, as well as awareness courses to Families, Baby Groups and Children’s Centres.
PACO is a Qualsafe Awards Approved Centre, which is an Ofqual regulated awarding organisation, established by experts in the first aid and safety training industry. We are also an official training organisation for Millie’s Trust and deliver courses on their behalf in the Yorkshire region.
Why we chose to support Millie’s Trust as a Charity?
I conducted some research into a need for First Aid courses for Families and parents and found there to be a demand. Through the regions children centres, I started delivering bespoke workshops to parents. This led to delivering workshops for post-natal groups for Doctor Surgeries and also working with Bradford Family Learning teaching First Aid to parents and children in the Bradford & District Schools.
A Children’s Centre Manager first brought Millie’s Trust to my attention as it was something which aligned very closely with the philosophy of PACO.
On reading the devastating story about Millie and the work Jo and Dan were doing, I knew it was something I wanted to be involved with. Not only
was I running courses for parents and carers, but I also had a niece in nursery, which really brought home the issue of nursery workers not necessarily being first aid trained.
This is when I contacted Millie’s Trust!! Their enthusiasm, commitment and ethos is second to none and it’s what PACO is all about. I am so proud and honoured to be working with Millie’s Trust and I am passionate in making a difference.
It is a travesty that such a shocking incident had to happen to make people sit up and take notice. But, they ARE now taking notice and together we ARE making a difference.
Please note that all Millie's Trust Courses must be booked directly through Millie's Trust Head Office by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
