Millie’s Mark  is an award established by the fight that Millie’s parents took to the government to make changes to Paediatric First Aid Training in Childcare settings and is a collaboration project between Millie’s Trust and NDNA (National Day Nurseries Association). 

With funding from People’s Postcode Lottery Millie’s Trust are pleased to announce that we will fully funding 3 applications for Millie’s Mark, one in England, one in Scotland and one in Wales. 

Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions:

1) Must be a new application (never awarded Millie's Mark before or be in a process for the application currently)

2) Must meet all criteria for MM (see full details here Millie’s Mark Criteria)

3) Applications open 2nd April 2025

4) Applications close on 31st May 2025

5) Awards announced 30th June 2025 to the winning applications

6) The winning setting will have a six-month time period to complete the award and apply for assessment – Winners will need to submit an application for assessment by Monday 5th January 2026

 

7) If an application for assessment is not received from the winning setting by Monday 5th January 2026, we have the right remove the winning setting and to re-award to a different setting

 

8) Minimum receipt of Pupil Premium must be 20% of children within the setting

 

9) Must submit 300 words of benefits that your setting, practitioners, children, and families will get from having the mark/why it would be beneficial for you to receive it

10) Application must be made via the official Google Form Application

11) Applications will be reviewed in June 2025 by Millie's Trust and we will then review finalists with NDNA and make a mutual agreement on the award

12) Only nurseries that work with children between 0 and 5 can make an application

13) 1 x award in England, 1 x in Scotland 1x award in Wales
