SAS DANIELS announce Millie’s Trust as Charity of the year 2019/2020
Millie’s Trust are very pleased to announce that Cheshire based solicitors SAS DANIELS have announced Millie’s Trust as their Charity of the year 2019/2020.
Staff from SAS Daniels’ Chester, Congleton, Macclesfield and Stockport offices will take part in various fundraising activities to support the work of the Cheadle Hulme based charity.
Each year SAS Daniels nominate a charity, local to one or more of their office locations, to receive any funds they raise as a firm. In addition to raising funds, they will help out by giving their time to add value to the charity – anything from gardening and decorating their premises to helping out at events.
They also hold a monthly ‘dress down day’ across the firm to help raise money for their chosen charity of the year and hold regular fundraising events such as a Christmas raffle, cake sales and sponsored events.
With their employees having chosen their first challenge to be Born Survivor, they are very much training hard and fighting fit to take on the challenge to raise as much as they can for Millie’s Trust.
Joanne, Chief Exec of Millie’s Trust says
“We are delighted that SAS Daniels will be supporting our work in 2019/2020 as we cherish the support of our local community to help us provide first aid education to those who need it but may not be able to afford. These skills save lives and everyone should have the chance to save a life if they were ever in a situation that they need to. Celebrating 20,000 people trained in 2018, any monies raised will help us to hit our next milestone of 30,000, many of which include school children. We are very much looking forward to working with SAS Daniels this year and we will certainly be joining them on a challenge or two!”
Katie Hodson, Associate and Head of the CSR committee at SAS Daniels commented: “At SAS Daniels we’re committed to supporting our local communities and our charity work is essential to this. It’s never an easy decision choosing who to support and we’re delighted to be supporting Millie’s Trust this year. The work they do to educate people on first aid is exceptional and we hope to support this throughout the year with our fundraising activity.”
